About us

A Concrete Contractor Based in Ridgeland, South Carolina

Salgado Construction Solutions places concrete for builders, general contractors and homeowners across the South Carolina Lowcountry and Coastal Georgia.

Who we are

Concrete, and not much else

We are a concrete crew. Foundations, footings, slab-on-grade, driveways and flatwork — residential and commercial, single lots and repeat lots. That focus is deliberate. A builder handing over a foundation package wants the people doing it to do it every day.

Our office is in Ridgeland, which sits between Bluffton, Hardeeville and the Georgia line. That puts most of Jasper and Beaufort Counties and the whole Savannah region inside a working radius we can actually service, rather than a map we can only claim. Charleston and Statesboro sit further out; we take work there when the pour is large enough to justify the mobilisation.

The crews work in English and Spanish, and so does the office. On a jobsite where the superintendent, the pump operator and the finishers do not all share a first language, that is not a nice extra — it is how the pour stays on schedule.

How we operate

What you can expect from us

Working practices, stated plainly. Ask us to demonstrate any of them on a live job before you award work.

We scope in writing

Inclusions and exclusions on the estimate, so nobody discovers a gap on pour day.

We say no

If a job is outside our radius, our capacity or our trade, we will tell you rather than take it and hold up your schedule.

We document the prep

Photos of grade, barrier, steel and embeds before concrete arrives — the part that disappears forever once the slab is placed.

We call early

Weather and ready-mix supply move dates in the Lowcountry. You hear about it as soon as we do.

We clean up

Forms stripped, washout handled, debris gone. The next trade should not have to work around us.

We work bilingually

Estimating, scheduling and the jobsite all covered in English and Spanish.

Credentials

Licensing, insurance and warranty

This section is deliberately empty. Nothing here is claimed until the documents have been checked.

Verify before publishing Nothing in this block has been confirmed.

You will notice this website never says “licensed and insured”, never states a number of years in business and never mentions a warranty. That is on purpose: none of those claims could be verified from the material supplied, and a contractor claim that turns out to be wrong costs more trust than it buys.

Publish each item below only after the document is in hand:

  • Contractor licence — number, classification, issuing state, expiry date.
  • General liability insurance — carrier, policy number, coverage limits, expiry.
  • Workers’ compensation — carrier and coverage confirmation.
  • Bonding — surety and capacity, if bonding is carried at all.
  • Safety programme — written programme, training records, EMR if you have one.
  • Years in business — the figure that appears publicly has not been confirmed against a formation date. Confirm it before printing it.
  • Vendor documents — W-9 and certificate of insurance availability.
  • Service radius and project minimum — the smallest job worth mobilising for, and how far out you will travel.

Warranty — resolve the conflict first. The public record currently contradicts itself: the existing About page refers to a warranty while the Angi profile states that no warranties are offered. Decide internally what the actual policy is, write it in plain terms, and only then publish it here. Until that is settled, neither claim should appear anywhere.

Builders and purchasing departments who need documentation now can email info@salgadoconcretesc.com and we will send whatever your office requires directly.

Local

Rooted in the Lowcountry

Working here means building for sandy subgrade, a high water table and rain that arrives without much notice. Drainage is not an afterthought on a Lowcountry slab, and flood elevations decide whether a house sits on a monolithic slab or an elevated one on a stem wall.

It also means the same builders, superintendents and ready-mix drivers turn up on the next job. Reputation here travels faster than any advertisement.

Verify A Greater Bluffton Chamber of Commerce membership appears in the public record. Confirm it is current, then add the member badge and a link here. Also add any builder association memberships (HBA of the Lowcountry, HBA of Greater Savannah) once joined.
